Cosecha de la Desesperanza - 1932-1933 - La Hambruna (Holodomor) en Ucrania

Esta película, úníca en su género, documenta las trágicas consequencias del olvidado holocausto en Ucrania.
En momentos en que Stalin vendia millones de toneladas de trigo a los mercados occidentals, en Ucrania la gente moria de hambre a un rítmo brutal de 25.000 por día. 10.000.000 de victimas inocerites perecieron en esta planificada y despiadadamente ejecutada hambruma artificial.
El film muestra las consequencias trágicas de la lucha nacjonal de Ucrania para lograr una mayor libertad cultural y politica en los años 1920-1930, integrando ya la Unión Soviética. Las fuertes e inéditas imágines de archivo descubren las mortales medidas tomadas por Stalin en contra del pueblo Ucranio y particuíarmente contra los campesínos. Los testimoníos desgarradores de los supevivientes, asi como los comentarios de periodistas, historiadores, políticos y diplomáticos completan el panorama del genocidio-Holodomor ucranio del siglo XX.

Ce film lauréat documente les conséquences tragiques de l'Holodomor en Ukraîne.
Pendant que Staline vendait des millions de tonnes de blé aux marchés europée'ns, des millions de victimes innocentes mouraient de famine organisée sous sa commande criminelle.
Ce fîlm documentaire explore les effets tragiques dans le contexte plus large de la lutte du peuple ukrainien pour leur indepéndence culturelle et politique pendant les années 1920-1930. Sur invitation, les Allemands avaient migré le long du Danube en trois grandes vagues, il y a plus de 700 ans, et s'étaient installés dans les régions montagneuses de Bohême et de Moravie. Entre 14 et 15 millions de civils ont été chassés de leur pays d'origine causant la mort d'au moins 2 millions de civils, dont beaucoup ont été brutalement assassinés.
Ce chiffre ne comprend pas les soldats rendus qui sont morts plus tard dans les camps de la mort d'Eisenhower, les goulags soviétiques, ni ceux qui ont été réduits en esclavage par les Alliés. En 1947, environ 4 000 000 d'Allemands furent utilisés comme esclaves par les "libérateurs" victorieux de l'Allemagne.
